Mouse
The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse
Now you must know that a Town Mouse once upon a time went on a visit to his cousin in the country. He was rough and ready, this cousin, but he loved his town friend and made him heartily welcome. Beans and bacon, cheese and bread, were all he had to offer, but he offered them freely.
The Town Mouse rather turned up his long nose at this country fare, and said: “I cannot understand, Cousin, how you can put up with such poor food as this, but of course you cannot expect anything better in the country; come you with me and I will show you how to live. When you have been in town a week you will wonder how you could ever have stood a country life.”
No sooner said than done: the two mice set off for the town and arrived at the Town Mouse’s residence late at night. “You will want some refreshment after our long journey,” said the polite Town Mouse, and took his friend into the grand dining-room. There they found the remains of a fine feast, and soon the two mice were eating up jellies and cakes and all that was nice.
Suddenly they heard growling and barking. “What is that?” said the Country Mouse. “It is only the dogs of the house,” answered the other. “Only!” said the Country Mouse. “I do not like that music at my dinner.” Just at that moment the door flew open, in came two huge mastiffs, and the two mice had to scamper down and run off. “Good-bye, Cousin,” said the Country Mouse, “What! going so soon?” said the other. “Yes,” he replied;
“Better beans and bacon in peace than cakes and ale in fear.”
La Pizza
The Little Dog Who Enjoyed Pizza
One day, a little dog walked down the street. People called him Henry. Henry wanted some pizza. He smelled pizza from a restaurant. It smelled very good. He wanted to eat the pizza. He knocked on the door, and asked the chef. The chef frowned and refused.Henry decided to prepare pizza at home. Henry poured and mixed and measured the ingredients. Then he cooked the tomatoes, and he sliced the cheese and olives. When the pizza appeared ready, Henry shared some with other dogs. The pizza burned a little, but it still smelled good. The dogs thanked him, and they agreed that the pizza tasted delicious. The chef learned about Henry's pizza. The chef cried, because everybody admired Henry's pizza. The chef apologized to Henry. Then they all lived a happy life together!

Esto Es Algo De Una Tarea Que Investigue En Mi Cuaderno Del Pet
Introduction to the PET Vocabulary List
The PET Vocabulary List gives teachers a guide to the vocabulary needed when preparing
students for the PET examination.
Background to the List
The PET list was originally developed by Cambridge ESOL in consultation with external
consultants to guide item writers who produce materials for the PET examination. It
includes vocabulary from the Council of Europe’s Threshold (1990) specification and other
vocabulary which corpus evidence shows is high-frequency.
The list covers vocabulary appropriate to this level of English and includes receptive
vocabulary (words that the candidate is expected to understand but which is not the focus
of a question), and productive vocabulary (words that the candidate needs to know to
answer a question).
The list does not provide an exhaustive list of all words which appear on the PET question
papers and candidates should not confine their study of vocabulary to the list alone.

Esta Es Una Cancion Es Ingles Una Delas Que Me Gusta Oir De SmallVille
(Smallville Theme Song) (Remy Zero) letra de Música
I feel my wings have broken
In your hands
I feel the words unspoken
Inside
When they pull you under
And I would give you any thing you want, oh
You were all I wanted
All my dreams are falling down
Crawling round (and round, and round)
Somebody save me
Let your warm hand break right through (me)
Somebody save me
I don't care how you do it
Just stay (stay with me), stay
Come on
I've been waiting for you
I see the world has folded in your heart
I feel the waves crash down inside
And they pull me under
And I would give you anything you want, oh
You were all I wanted
All my dreams have fallen down
Crawling round (and round, and round)
Somebody save me
Let your warm hands break right through (me)
Somebody save me
I don't care how you do it
Just stay (stay with me), stay
Come on
I've been waiting for you
All my dreams are on the ground
Crawling round (and round, and round)
Somebody save me
Let your warm hands break right through (me)
Somebody save me
I don't' care how you do it
Just stay with me (stay with me)
I've made this whole world shine for you
Just stay (stay with me), stay
Come on
I'm still waiting for you
I feel my wings have broken
